I once asked my Irish friend what the quickest way to Burnley was.

He said, "Walking or driving?"
I said, "Driving".
He replied, "Yeah, that's the quickest".

Frank -

A few years ago I went with a couple of mates to a car-hire place to book a car for a holiday in Ireland.

Trying to be amusing for the young lady at the desk, I told her that we weren't sure which side of the road we'd need to drive on over there. 'But an Irish friend of mine,' I continued, 'Says we can just drive in the middle.'

Imagine my surprise, a few miles out of Dublin, when I realised that indeed everyone drives in the middle.

Well I certainly do Admiral. The roads around us have no drains so they are sloped both sides to run rain off into the meadows.
MOR is the only way you can drive level.

Very hard to compare the quality of life for us from living in England . The only thing I must is sunshine or two dry days back to back 8-)

That's a good question. I haven't got it listed on my modbro but the Saturday live PL match just goes out on SS5 over here and I have 3 or 4 of them listed.

The wild Atlantic, Tribesmen. After wet Lancashire it's wonderful here in Waterford.
