Tom Heatons luminous yellow kit.
My 9 year old wore it to school yesterday - on 'wear something bright day' - he won a house point

The Cooke sponsored PL one.
Or the 59/60 shirt.
Or the 62 cup final shirt.
Or the 74 "V" shirt.
Or that one pictured above worn by Taffy. (That was my first replica shirt)

Re: Your favourite Burnley kit?
In the modern era nothing comes close to the first PL kit we had; the Cooke one. That was an absolute belter of a kit.
I really liked the FA Cup Centenary home shirt we wore on the last day in 2014 as well. That should have been our kit the following year.
For shear joy as a child I'll also add the "Champions" kit from 91/92. I wore that kit to death - I absolutely loved it!!

Re: Your favourite Burnley kit?
Without doubt it was the yellow away kit, late seventies/ early eighties, that had a very smart embroidered badge. I thought I was Trevor Steven when I played footie in it ont' back field up Brunshaw, that was however, until some foo-ker nicked it off mi' mams washing line. I still haven't got over the loss.

My all time favourite clarets shirt by mile. That is one shirt where nobody needs to look at the badge to see which club it represents. It's the most Burnley shirt we've ever had.

2004/5 Hunters and 1970/1ish.
Being Welsh blooded, I have the characteristic lack of a neck, so ones with collars are never that great.
I prefer Burnley kits to have predominantly claret arms so that I don't get mistaken for a West Ham fan (and they look better anyway).

I'm a traditionalist and would always prefer the blue sleeves but I think the 125 year one is my favourite. love the gold crest and trim.

I had this one as a schoolboy... I remember at the time my dad being outraged as it was the most UN-Burnley shirt ever!

I remember him saying "what is that bloody V all about, we are not blooming Villa!"

The club had a series of features about favourite shirts in the programme 2 seasons ago, and I was lucky enough to have my contribution picked.
The 93-95 home shirt, as worn at Wembley 94, is my second favourite.

I thought the 60's(?) away strip was a classic. White shirts with claret collar and cuffs, claret shorts and white socks with 2 claret hoops at the top.Simple ,but very attractive. Had some of those socks for a few years a long time ago!

Another vote for the no sponsor one from the Kevin Ball era.
Is it true we never won a game wearing the green and black halved away shirt?

Re: Your favourite Burnley kit?
I don't like the sponsorless one because the shape was terrible, almost square, and the material was really horrible.
A real let down.

The Wembley special edition one was horrendous!!!! My favourites are the 09/10 PL season shirt, and the home version of the 'green and black' (93/94?) one.

No shirt should ever have a V on it. The football shirt equivalent of British Leyland. It's the shirt worn by Taffy for me. In the picture above it looks like he's trying to "do" the guy in the Citeh shirt who could be Willie Donachie.

Re: Your favourite Burnley kit?
The guy in the City shirt IS Willie Donachie who ended up playing pretty well for us later on and although at first glance it appears that it's at the Turf with the Longside behind, I actually think it's at Maine Rd with the Kippax behind which was absolutely identical in design and build.
I too think the no sponsor shirt was probably the best, but I actually rather like the current one. And yes, the white away shirts with claret trim and claret shorts from the 70's would be a great shout for an away kit sometime soon.
