Seems about right to me.
At least one of Barton, Hendrick, Brady or Gray should get a goal.

Yep I think that will be the team also - especially after Dyche mentioned in the press conference his view that Gray can play as lone striker aswell as in a two.

Personally I would play Vokes up top with Gray and drop Westwood to the bench.

With a 5 man midfield will he play Vokes ahead of Gray?

Heaton
Lowton, Keane, Mee, Ward
Boyd, Westwood, Barton, Hendrick, Brady
Vokes

I think Vokes and Gray will be up front. Hendricks on the bench

Vokes will be desperate to score against Swansea with him being a massive Cardiff fan.

I'd understand it if Hendrick started on the bench. He got himself sent off, so has to work to get back into the side.

As suggested the main dilemma is whether to go 4-5-1 or 4-4-2. But for me Hendrick has to play either way.

Is this more massive than his support for Southampton?

Heaton
Lowton Keane Mee Ward
Hendrick Westwood Barton Brady
Vokes Gray

Assuming Hendrick can play at right half. I don't see why not.

I think Westwood has done enough to keep his place.

The OP has it bang on for me. The only question mark for me would be Boyd. It's a shame JBG isn't fit as I think he'd make up a good front four with Hendrick, Brady and Gray. Certainly some pace and quality in those guys.

Heaton
Lowton Keane Mee Ward
Barton Westwood
Boyd Hendrick Brady
Gray

For me Barton Westwood and Hendrick to start with one up top probably Vokes. Gray on bench so we can change style if not working. Paul Clement is a good manager and will have done his homework.

It's more made up.

Hendrick should definitely start, I expect he'll come in for Barnes.

It'll be interesting to see.
I think SD would have liked to have Barnes available

The problem with Gray up front on his own, is that the ball is rarely held up and then laid off to the midfielders pushing up, obviously Barnes and Vokes much better in that role.

Heaton
Lowton Keane Mee Ward
Boyd Hendrick(box to box). Barton (deeper) Brady
Vokes Gray

Think we should get a result with that team.

My prediction of Mr.Dyche's chosen eleven.

Heaton

Lowton Keane Mee Ward

Boyd Westwood Barton Brady

Hendrick

Vokes

My chosen eleven differs with Arfield for Hendrick.

Hendrick look(ed)s good when he play(ed)s off Sam, so:

.........................Heaton...............................

Lowton.........Keane..............Mee............Ward...

Arfield*..........Barton..........Westwood.....Brady**.....

...................Hendrick..................................

..................................Vokes.....................

* I like the balance a right footed, right sided player gives.

** By the skin of your teeth wee man but Boyd is breathing down your neck

As last week, but with Vokes in for Barnes and Hendrick in for Westwood.

I can see the argument for one up front, but if we're doing that i'd bring Arfield in for Vokes and use him in that attacking midfield role off Gray.

At times last week we didn't press the ball as well as we can, because neither Westwood nor Barton go and engage naturally. Westwood will ultimately replace Barton alongside Hendrick, but it is an either /or choice for me when we have the option.

Arfield gives us a goal threat from midfield, and he's also better than Hendrick with his back to goal - he holds the ball up quite well if the service is decent.

No, spice...Hendrick is at his best driving forward, we don't want him with his back to goal, ball up to Vokes with Hendrick supporting.

Hendrick is at his best playing as a proper central midfielder, not in some roving loose forward role. Hes our best and most complete midfielder. He'll be able to do plenty of driving forwards from a proper central midfield role and he can leave the auxilliary forward stuff to someone else.

Our perfect mid-field would be duo Defour and Hendrick but that isn't possible.
