I know there's a few experts on here so wondering if I could please get some advice. I've just installed the Windows Kodi app on my laptop to put Sportsmania on it. Just wondering if anyone on here has the Windows version?
I've managed to add the Sportsmani source but can't for the life of me find the next stage (System > Add ons > Install from zip file) of the instructions. The only instructions I can find online seem to be for the android app but I just can't figure out the windows equivalent method. Any ideas?
Ta in advance

You can access sportsmania streams direct from their website, no need for Kodi

You're joking. After all that faffing
Hope things are going well with the impending new arrival, by the way!

It's exactly the same process on Android or Windows. The instructions on Sportsmania's own website are very easy to follow.

It doesn't appear to be - the Windows app is completey different. There's no menu across the bottom and like I said in my original post, there's no way to navigate to 'Install from zip file' which is key step in installing Sportsmania onto Kodi.

Think the sportsmania app is only for android, matrix browser for ios, but on my laptop i use kodi, 16.1 jarvis, there are lots of problems with the new kodi 17 kripton. But as posted above you can view the streams directly from their website.

Sorry, yes I forgot to mention that ideally you should have installed version 16.1 (Jarvis).
It should look like the one on the link I put up earlier.
As said above, version 17 is still not fully tested and they are having a few teething problems
with it, so stay away from it for the moment.
As stated, you can run Sportsmania direct from their website with no need for Kodi which
is simply a media player.

Ah, you're on Jarvis. I'm not a fan and it seems more convoluted but it is still possible.
Follow the instructions to add the repository. Then go:
Add-ons (on the left hand menu)
Select the icon that looks like a box on the top left
Select Install from Zip file
Carry on following the instructions

I finally succeeded, thanks. Not sure why when I can just view it directly from the site, but I wouldn't be beaten!

Is there any difference in using a fire stick instead of a firebox,is the quality any better,I currently use a fire stick but the picture can be a bit hazy at times,is it just down to internet speed or would a box give me a better outcome, hope you understand that waffle...cheers guys.

I would say hardly anyone. With the way things are going, mine is always used through a VPN. ISPs are already sending out letters to users in North Wales advising them they are aware they are accessing streams, so they'll pick the low hanging fruit first and there is plenty of it.

I'm using my VPN on the laptop (Cyberghost). Are they easy to set up and use on the fire stick/box?
