Defensively, we're a good enough unit to see games through once we are 2-1 up with 25 minutes to go and it is the fact we have been unable to even see out a point that is most disappointing.
When teams let us have possession we don't know what to do with it even at home

I think overall the tactics have been pretty good this season but we probably won't get an away win using them a few more draws away coupled with another home win or two should see us reet tho

Non of the bottom three will win another three games. Sunderland are gone, Boro just awful and Hull terrible.

Two more wins, which we will get - and more, then book your holidays !

Frank is obviously itching to be the one who can say "I told you so" if we do somehow get relegated.

I'd love you to be right Cooper. I've said it before and I'll say it again - if we stay up this season, we'll stay up for many years.

Shambolic, no other word for it. If you can't see a game out on 90 mins then it's poor.

WE WILL STAY UP

Again, have a look at Boro's run in - they will not get another point. Hull can not score and look dire and the less said about Sunderland the better.

My prediction is 15 points from the bottom 3 at the end of the season and 100 million to spend next season

Take it easy and have a nice glass of claret and raise it to the best gaffer in English football.

So based on your logic there should never be a stoppage time winner?

We are still 9 points above the bottom 3, and they are there for a reason. Every game is one game nearer us staying up.

It'll be close. Another handful of points is the most we can expect.

I'm sorry but you're being far too pessimistic. Even if you write off our remaining away games, which would be daft as we still have to visit 2 teams in the bottom 3, we still have 5 home games including games against West Ham, West Brom and Stoke.

I would expect us to pick up more than 5 points in the next 11 games and our points haul to date suggests we comfortably will.

Just put this on the otherr thread as well:

With 11 to go, In the last 11 matches:

Boro have got 7 points
Hull have got 9 points.
Sunderland have got 8 points.

We've got 14 points.

The fact that we are even discussing this shows that we're apprehensive.

I'm not, Frank.

The only reason I've posted on this thread is to try to reassure faint hearts like you.

We're perfectly safe, I do assure you. Chill.

Shocking football from us today
Lump it up field to vokes and hope for the best
No other tactic involved
God know what they did in training this week .
I know we nearly escaped with a point . But come on this ain't good enough.

Stop looking down. Start looking up and see that we are in touching distance of a top half finish. 9th or 10th is still possible and that's what we should be aiming for.

We'd got 23 points from 20 matches without him already.

If I was any more faint hearted, I'd be in Carebear land.

We are currently not safe: 31 points will not keep us up

And we need points where we don't look getting naff all.

Only concern I have is that all it takes is one win from teams below us and its possible to go on a good run. Swansea and Palace are proof of that.

Saying that, i can't see us not getting enough points to stay up, but until its mathematically guaranteed, I'm still going to be concerned

Rubbish! In the next 4 games there's the potential for 12 points, although we might not get them all!

I could have sworn our home form was one of the best in the league.
