With our back four virtually picking it self and you have to say its our strongest section in our formation.
With the midfield we seem to come short of having a any luck forming the same settled dimensional unit of the team, with injury and one thing and another I feel we have never gelled the right balance and got our engine tuned in this area.
If we got this area right and married in with our defence then our away results would come.
Does any one have statistics on how many matches that we have played four of the same midfielders for any continuity of matches this season ? I would be surprised if it was over five consecutive matches out of 27 games so far.
With three in this area coming in January it would fabricate to this obviously but we need to find our strongest midfield if we are to injure on 4-4-2 system.
Injures haven't helped either as we have been unlucky in this area for quite some time now but I do feel we need to address it as its worked in our favour with the defence.
We have been short and probably we still are.

Re: A settled Midfield Four
A little more stability in midfield towards the end of the season would go a long way. Defour in for Joey when the time comes and then fingers crossed for no more injuries or daft sending-offs.
