Premier League Referees salary

Just wondering how much a Premier League Referee gets as a salary, any ideas?

I'd Guess 1,000 a week minimum, then extras for doing midweek and cup games. Obviously expenses like travelling, hotels and food will also be claimed for.

I have Mark Halsey's auto biography and he mentions his wage, but he got paid per game depending on the level. Sadly I don't have it to hand to tell you what he was getting about a decade ago.

Thought it started at £500/game in the Prem league some years ago

Retainer £38500-£42000 depending upon experience and £1150 per game
