Our defenders on the line

Post by Quickenthetempo » Wed Mar 08, 2017 2:22 pm

I keep seeing loads of praise for our defenders like Mee getting back on the line to save us.

Is it just me that's getting concerned with the amount of bodies we get back on the line? Sometimes 4 or 5 players abort their duties and get on the line like the Lincoln goal or Swansea game.
Fair enough in desperate times one go on the line but it seems to be getting a habit with a few. They would be better picking a man up wouldn't they and trying to defend the normal way?

I still prefer two defenders on the line at corners - one on each post, but the keeper has to be slightly in front of them to avoid collisions.

We have improved massively on corners. It was horrible last time, anytime the opposition had a corner it always seemed like a goal.
