Travel advice by car for tomorrow

Post by damo_whitehead » Sat Mar 11, 2017 11:18 pm

Just wondering if anyone has some good tips for travelling to Anfield by car. From what I have researched online it seems a bit of a nightmare to park around Anfield. From experience where is the best place to park?

Make sure you have locking wheel nuts and don't have a copy of the Sun on Sunday on view.

Park at least 5 miles away from ground if you want to come back.to a car with all its windows

I wonder if those car parking protection rackets are still in force around the two stadia of Liverpool?
You know the ones; where the cheery scouse scamp asks you for money to 'keep an eye on your car', with the tacit understanding that, if you don't pay him, he,or one of his confederates, will damage/rob your property.

Make sure you park it as directed and advised by the little scrotes hanging around near the ground - especially if you want to replace the car on your insurance next week.

When you get to the end of the M62 be aware that when the speed limit drops to 50mph there is a speed camera just after.
