I had the channel disappearing glitch for a while, but it went after updating to kodi 17.1

As a back up there is an app called Matrix TV which is sportsmania. I loaded it on to my iPad and phone following a how to guide on tinternet. It is free if you subscribe and is accessed by entering your user name and password. It seems very reliable and of course on the iPad the picture quality is very good.

Just a heads up ahead of the weekend - Sportsmania have been sending out emails to members advising that they have changed their domain name to Sportsmania.rocks. If viewing on Matrix you will need to input the new URL. They have updated the Kodi add on to version 3.5.9 and you may be required to uninstall the old repo and install the new one. There are You Tube videos linked into the email. It took about 10 minutes to do and now back up and running again.

I had the email yesterday. Sportsmania didn't work at all so I followed their instructions, updated Kodi to latest version, uninstalled Sportsmania app and repository and installed the new ones. Works fine now. As does the new URL

Took me about an hour because their instructions on the video are so fast that I had to keep rewinding.
