Blizzard Expected
They're forecasting a good, old-fashioned snowstorm here beginning tonight and going through tomorrow. If nobody hears from me for awhile, you'll know why. From the reaction I've been getting from a few of my posts recently, this is probably a good thing.

Read today that California has had more than 15 metres of snow this winter - Lake Tahoe will still be skiing on July-4. Sorted the 5 year Californian drought, also.ontario claret wrote:They're forecasting a good, old-fashioned snowstorm here beginning tonight and going through tomorrow. It was a warm spring day in South West London today.
Take it easy with the snow shovel, Ontario.

Re: Blizzard Expected
Sorry, Tony. We've had an extremely mild winter (again) this year, so I'm actually looking forward to re-living my youth, when snow up to the top of the stop signs was a semi-regular occurence. Don't look forward to the shovelling part, however. Think I'll go get the "feast" special at KFC, and hunker down for a couple of days. (And that's London, UK, not London, Ontario, which is one of the snow capitals over here, right, Paul?)

I've got good friends in Toronto - and a bottle of Niagara ice wine in my cupboard that is waiting for a special occasion.

All of that build up, and we barely got enough to cover the grass. West, south, and especially east of here, they got socked, but a big zippo here. Places in central New York and eastern Quebec got over 4 feet. Oh well. At least my back feels a whole lot better.
