Poor stereotypical headline. The people of Liverpool were very friendly and welcoming.

All the reds I spoke too were very friendly.

Shared a cab with four of then from the centre to the stadium no bother. Walked to lime street after the game no bother. All in my shirt and scarf.

I think having 2 teams in one city helps for sure.

Yes like to go into them sort of establishments myself, but I reckon by all accounts Tommy Without the Fez Cooper is slight out of lunch :lol:

Good read as ever Dave. That night against Barnsley will be remembered for a long time. Just for the record its Gifton Ruben Elisha Noel-Williams, but he was mostly referred to as Gifton Noel Williams.
