Re: Lukaku
With Kane out of the picture he's odds on to get the Golden Boot. Knowing his own skill he probably want's to win major trophies and while Everton are a decent club that's unlikely there.
So either a super huge pay increase or a big money move coming his way.

Re: Lukaku
I think the deal is on the table but he hasn't signed it yet.
I'm really surprised a bigger club hasn't table a proper bid yet.
Doesn't he average around 20 league goals a season?
He'd be ideal for Arsenal.

Re: Lukaku
Could never understand chelsea not playing him never mind selling him. Will be better than Drogba who was outstanding himself.
Re: Lukaku
Maybe not the best timing for all this with Everton taking on Hull at the weekend. Need them to take all 3 points from them!

Re: Lukaku
Allegedly about to turn down a contract offer of £120k per week which would have doubled his current wage.
Seems he's set his sights on Champions League football, something which Everton are light years away from.

Re: Lukaku
With a new keeper, centre half and a winger everton could easily break top4.

Re: Lukaku
And a new striker when Lukaku leaves.
A million miles from top four, both on and off the field.

Lu Lu skip to the Lu and kaku (after skip to my Lou Macari). Let's hope he's Injured when we travel to Goodison.

Re: Lukaku
You will find he has refused to sign because of the £90m buy out clause Everton are insisting on putting into the deal to ward off selling next year if it doesn't look like they will make the Champions League - apparently Chelsea and United are sniffing around

Everton are a good team with a very good manager in his first season. They could easily break top 4

That's interesting Chester_Perry.......the way I heard it earlier today was Lukaku has requested a buy-out clause of £22m which clearly would not have impressed Everton.
It seems that even though Farhad Moshiri has loaned the club some £80m, the whole of that amount has gone to paying off existing debts so they remain in a poor financial situation and unable to compete with the top six in the PL never mind top four.

At Chelsea Lukaku never in amonth of sundays would be better than Lukaku. Aggression wipes Lulaku away in an instant and aggression gets you goals.cricketfieldclarets wrote:Could never understand chelsea not playing him never mind selling him. Will be better than Drogba who was outstanding himself.

Re: Lukaku
Well hes doing alright for goals so far. Hes already averaging far more per game than Drogba did. And Drogba only scored more goals than Lukaku has this season twice. And Lukaku has consistently scored around this many.gogogadgetlegs wrote:At Chelsea Lukaku never in amonth of sundays would be better than Lukaku. Lukaku scored over 15 in 4 out of 5 seasons. Drogba did it twice in 9 seasons.
Oh and Lukalu is 23. Drogba was already 26 when they bought him.
Re: Lukaku
So Lukaku has apparently been offered the biggest deal anyone has ever been offered by Everton AND he still has 2 years left to run on his current deal, yet Everton will basically be forced to sell this summer because he's not agreed to extend his stay beyond those 2 years. Sounds crazy to me.
Contracts really are worthless these days, they really are. It makes you wonder why transfer fee's keep going up like they do to be honest. It's very clear that even if you spend £100 million on a player and give them a 5 year deal, they could feasibly force your hand to sell them within 3 years. The whole Bosman ruling has a lot to answer for. Player power is on the way up, player loyalty is on the way down!
