Can't do without watching the 'The Chase' on the +1 hour when I get back from work. The presenter is a bit of an arse but the 'Chasers' are clever as.

Australian Masterchef. Every episode of every series from the outset.
Bradley Walsh is not an arse. Fact.

Does anybody get "The Mystery of Oak Island" over there? It's about an island off the coast of Nova Scotia that's been explored since the 19th century for buried treasure. Problem is, somebody went to great trouble a long time ago to booby-trap everything. Nobody really knows how or why, but somebody went through a whole lot of trouble to do what they did.

Maybe Saxoman's grandfather did the booby-trapping.

Homes Under the Hammer. Don't ever mean to watch it but get caught up in the whole house thing.

Apart from when Dion Dublin is on though.

Looking for the Knights Templar gold? Think I saw this on PBS America. People have got seriously obsessed about it.

Spooks. It's called MI5 in the US.
A friend told me about it a month ago. Started at Series 1 Episode 1 and i'm up to Series 6 (which is basically 2007)
It's **** but easy to watch I guess.
Not afraid to kill off characters, I'm finding out...

A couple of Italian-American brothers who are self-made millionaires have invested millions in order to try to find it. They saw the same article in Reader's Digest that I did when I was 11 years old, and it's become an absolute obsession for them. Of course, the TV series offsets the costs, but still. Last year they brought in the heavy equipment and went to work. They found what looks like a hinge from a treasure chest, but they could have just salted it. Who knows? Next year, we might find out, or else it'll just drag on forever.

Person of interest. Bit cheesy but interesting. I thought Wednesdays lesbian love scene was particularly artfully done.

The wife's mother lives with us. I tend to watch tv upstairs as our choices hardly ever match. Mother-in-law likes 60's, 70's box-sets to the exclusion of almost anything else and some American series such as Ghost Whisperer or Charmed. When we have our evening meal Charmed is usually on and I really annoy her when I laugh and tell her I love spoof comedies. She is convinced it is drama of the top order.

My league doesn't start until Sunday, Charlie. I got promoted on the first try, so I expect stiffer competition this term.

That frangipane seriously looked absolutely amazing. So did the first dessert she made.

The other bird that scraped through looks a typical Islington Set, Saturday night dinner party, quinoa and sun dried tomato muncher.

I think that we have an early contender for champion Chobulous.

I'm hoping that the 'sun dried tomato muncher' doesn't last long. Her voice and American accent are already annoying.

I'm liking the Irish lass Alison on Masterchef tonight.

A pretty lass, pretty intelligent and a pretty good cook as well.
