Where's the evidence we'll suddenly struggle at home?
Where's the evidence we'll suddenly struggle at home?
It happens every time we don't win away and people panic, yet we've always bounced back every home game.

A draw away isn't bad any day, but our lack of a win has everyone running around headless.

People predict it almost like they want it to happen.

There is no evidence but football doesn't work like that it's all aboutmomentum

But why do they predict it, Frank?
No evidence for it whatsoever.

I admit to thinking more overall than at home. I guess our run of away games and not winning since Leicester in January has perhaps put us into a false sense of negativity.ElectroClaret wrote:But why do they predict it, Frank?

So I think the theory that we'll struggle at home is in part, the score vs Lincoln and the fact that we've played so many games away, which might have a negative impact on us full stop.

I don't see us repeating the home form next season not to say we'll be bad but its unlikely imo.ElectroClaret wrote:But why do they predict it, Frank?

Re: Where's the evidence we'll suddenly struggle at home?
there can't be evidence, but on this topic, its slightly worrying that we have to face some pretty stiff opposition at home.
The inability to break down sunderland and knowing we have to face the likes of spurs at home is a concern. Not winning away has been countered by great home form. I look at the likelihood of spurs winning here and with us in 13th, the danger is still present. Most fans didnt expect the points tally at the Turf, thank god we achieved it ! If we faulter at home now, and the **** away form continues then it could become difficult for us with quite a few games left. If we lose a player through suspension or injury, the home form and shape of the team would disappear immediately. Thin ice !!!

It's equally unlikely that we'll repeat our away formKRBFC wrote:I don't see us repeating the home form next season not to say we'll be bad but its unlikely imo.

I don't see how we are going to start winning away, it doesn't look likely at all which is why im concerned because I think its unlikely we'll have the 3rd best home record in the league again.Tall Paul wrote:It's equally unlikely that we'll repeat our away form

I don't think Dyche will be here next year. I think he'll be picked off. Maybe the new man will start some flair players away. But as things stand, I agree.KRBFC wrote:I don't see how we are going to start winning away, it doesn't look likely at all which is why im concerned because I think its unlikely we'll have the 3rd best home record in the league again.
we are also traditionally crap coming back after an international break.
