Tell you what, ablueclaret is looking at this thread and going "just think how many hits I'd get on my thread if I was a rovers fan"
Re: Tough run in
If you annoy anyone, given the terrible team you support, your reasons for supporting them and your obvious afflictions, then they deserve to be annoyedSaxoman wrote:An unfair temporary ban has changed that. I don't give a damn if I annoy you now.
Re: Tough run in
To be fair I think the ban was really because Liverpool just beat you without having to leave first gear.

Re: Tough run in
Based on the average points per game of our opponents (1.35, accounting for home/away), only 3 other sides have a better run-in than us. Hull (1.15), Swansea (1.15) and Liverpool (1.17)Saxoman wrote:Didn't realise how hard you have it. Can only see 2 more points for you. Squeaky bum for both our teams I reckon..

You've not won since Leicester at home ages ago. That fact cannot be dismissed and will affect confidence.

5 of the 6 games since then were away games, the home game was Chelsea.
What is it that makes you think our away form will negatively affect our home form?

If I'm wrong fair do's, but I just have a feeling the run in might be a struggle for you.

Well, OK. But remember this thread is about our run-in, not our form or morale.
Re: Tough run in
There's no such thing as momentum as it relates to football results, but if there was, ours would be positive given that the away form has improved by 200% over the last four games.Saxoman wrote:Momentum.

Re: Tough run in
So what are your thoughts on your run in, Saxo? You have just conceded ANOTHER late goal, which your fans on various forums were crying about and saying it felt like a defeat. Your players will be down, especially as it keep happening this season. You've now got Brighton and Reading away as part of a 5 away game run in when you've won only 2 on your travels this season.Saxoman wrote:[/url]

Re: Tough run in
And that, forever, is why this saxo idiot has crawled back on here. He knows Rovers are in deep wotsit so he smarms back on here trying to create an issue that has been considered by at least half a dozen threads already.
Maybe, we'll have to grind points out over the next few games to ensure survival, maybe they'll come more quickly than we thought....if our run-in is a "tough" one, at leat it's a tough PREMIERSHIP one.
Why he appears to care about Rovers, God knows - the chump reckons to live in Blackburn but doesn't actually watch them - but those scumbags would give anything to be in our position and that's what hurts the saxtwat the most. Manic depressive ? He will be in a month or two.

Re: Tough run in
I think if we won against spurs it would alter things dramatically in our favour.
The 3 points would be such a boost, it would put us nearer safety much sooner.
The confidence gained might enable us to play with less nervousness for the remaining fixtures. That could mean even more wins, even away.

Let's just wait and see where we both are at the end of the season then we can all talk again, just remember what our home form is like
Until then do us all a favour and jump on your horse

Re: Tough run in
I think it's fair to say our run in is far from easy but others down there have much tougher ones.
If Boro don't get an absolute minimum of 7 points from their next 3 then they're going to need something pretty special with tougher games to come.
I've seen positives away that mean we could get a win and at least an odd draw. There's nothing to suggest in our home form that we won't get more points especially against Stoke, West Brom and West Ham.

In all the disappointment in only getting another point in the premier league on Saturday, I've only just realised that the horse botherers let in a last minute equaliser against PNE.

What's wrong with that? It would be a pretty one-sided, boring message board without them.Bin Ont Turf wrote:
No, Claret On A T Rex usually likes posts made by KBRFC and AblueClaret so he doesn't count.
When I first joined, I bashed Saxo too, told him to get a life etc etc but he serves a purpose, once you stop pointing your finger at his own team's misfortunes you might understand why him, Ablueclaret, KRBFC are on here, they can't gloat because they are more than 200 league positions below us and with the way Venkys are running it, Ewood will be a dog track in five years so it must be jealousy.
At least they don't have Sean Dyche themed Claret and Blue tinted goggles on so we can have a bit of debate on here.
I don't "like" or reply when it's blatant trolling or ridiculous "ner-ner-ner-ner-ner, you lost" type posts but this time but Saxo is right, we have got a tough run in.
Most of us know that anyway but some on here think we're home and dry.
Also, why bash people who create engagement?
The mechanics of the message board probably thrives on the more interesting, dissenting and debateable posts rather than just "yay, we win, see u next week" contributions. A lot of people forget that this website is totally unofficial and in no way connected to the club, the matter will be settled by the manager and players, not us banging on about it on here.
We don't even know who anyone is for sure, Ablueclaret might be Sean Dyche himself doing a Gerald Broflovski on us all.

You seem surprised that someone like ablue and saxo have multiple accounts.
Its classic "look at me, look at me, LOOK AT ME! ME! ME! ME" behaviour.

Re: Tough run in
For the record, though Rovers are still in the relegation zone, the fact that they are not losing games is a massive bonus for them and I don't think they will go down now.
Still hoping though!

I saw Burton Albion throw away a great first half performance and a 3-1 lead against Brentford. Rovers have nothing to fear regarding Burton, they were absolute bobbins after the break.

People have patterns of how they write and converse, so I'm sure If we look back over your posts there will be multiple and regular examples of you referring to yourself in the third person...
Unless of course it was the only excuse left to you.

I was convinced these were the pitiful actions of an intellectually challenged attention seeking motherly dominated no mark but I may have been hasty.
I'm pleased it's none of that and he just likes to refer to himself in the 3rd person. Just shows you can be wrong about people.
