Chuck Berry
A short notice to remember the man who "invented roll and roll", as the Toronto Star said. Apart from his time spent behind bars for contravening the Mann Act (I think that applies to having intimate relations with minors), the man was incredible for the energy and witicism he put into his music. Many tributes from top practitioners of the art form have flowed in. Long live roll and roll.
