Horse experts

Post by Newcastleclaret93 » Mon Mar 20, 2017 7:20 pm

I've been told to back competition in the 5.40 at wetherby tomorrow.
Apparently my work colleague has backed it at 150-1 an has been waiting almost a month for it to run.

The price is only 33-1 now. Is it worth a 5er or is it merely throwing money down the drain?

18/1 on skybet. It has run a couple of times before so not likely to catch the bookies out.

Bet for fun if you like it might be your lucky day.

Yes I noticed the form is pretty poor. I can't see any reason at all why it might win this time out

Second the last time it ran at the course so not a no hoper. At those odds, go each way if you're betting.

It's a dead cert.

Put your house and your entire life savings on it.

It's a national hunt flat race,so one things for sure it shouldn't fall ...Its a very very poor race indeed so it won't take much winning ..Why didn't Your so called "work colleague" tell you to back it when it was 150/1, obviously for some reason he didn't want you to know . The odds are coming down all the time so somebody is putting money on it ..you have as they say "missed the boat " ..

If you can afford to waste a tenner , My bet would be a fiver e/w ...Don't hold your breath though.. :)

Personally I think if Saxo was running,he'd have more chance than Competition ..Hope I'm wrong :D

He did tell me to back at 150-1.
By the time I had got home to put it on, was 33-1

Fernan seems a good bet that race.

Yours will probably end up in the UHU factory.

I love Wetherby. Not.

Have owned two horses that have died there.

Great course and facilities but not great memories.

It's a tough track and I'm guessing that they will have had some rain over the past couple of days or so?

Before you back anything look for previous form on the going.

20/1

Ironically what time it is expected to have completed it's circuit by today.

......

Everyone has good/bad tips all the time. Just hope you didn't lump on it and neither did your colleague.

The only problem with getting tips is there are far more in the know people that give out false information so other horses are backed and they get a good price on the one they want to back.

Noticed that the owners had this in the sales at Goffs in March last year. Bids up to 75000 Euros and failed to meet its reserve. oops!
