Mobile phones will pretty much be the only electronic device allowed in hand/cabin luggage on flights from 6 countries.
I'm surprised no ones mentioned this on here today

It's a little odd: US has banned laptops as carry-ons on certain airlines (but no US carriers) from Dubai and other airports flying direct to USA, UK includes BA and other UK airlines, but hasn't included Dubai airport.
So, is Dubai a safe airport on not?
And, are US airlines safe or not? (We all know all things USA are "biggly" and going to be made "great again").

Hi Sidney, thanks for mentioning. Gave me motive for looking at what has been announced.
