Germany V's England

Post by Diesel » Wed Mar 22, 2017 7:07 pm

As ever, I look forward to any match involving Burnley AND England but in particular this one as it see's our own Michael Keane making his international debut.

Can't see beyond a Germany win though I'm afraid.

Germany 3 England 0

I'd be more confident with Ben alongside him.

Germany dont have that strong a side out but still fancy them to win 3-1. Unless it becomes a bit of a testimonial farce for podolski.

Hopefully if Keane swaps shirts he gets podolskis. His last game. Keanes first.

Every one of the players starting in central defence tonight has played for Burnley, apart from Smalling.

The scummy end of the England followers letting the side down again.
Still if they can't respect themselves why should they respect a national anthem.

Keano's passing accuracy must be 100% and a great block on the edge of the area!

Keane still leaving a man behind him at the back post for crosses from the left - source of much pain recently for Burnley

Every chance of nicking a draw here and bringing the Germans back to England for a replay where we'd have a great chance to progress.

Walker is not the right man for the role he's playing. Covers the hard yards and sound defensively but he NEVER EVER gets an assist, never mind a goal.

Now he'll prove me wrong.
