A very accomplished debut.

Seems a long, long time since we had to watch Steve Blatherwick.

If the shot that lead to the goal had been keane instead of cahill trying to block (dodge) the final score would have been 0-0
That said was a great shot. Grow some balls gary. Put your body on the line MK would have. Hang on thats a Ben Mee job.

As said on another post a more than decent debut.
He's there for the duration and has probably put another 2m on his fee.

Very good debut.
As mentioned on the match thread, he looked assured throughout. Only blip was misjudging a difficult bounce.
Very proud times being a Claret recently.

Burnleys centre half, is England's centre half.

It's amazing. I'm so proud and delighted.

his passing was superb, we are wasting him by just getting him to launch it to Barnes, such a shame. I suspect it'll be pretty much the same against the might of Lithuania at the weekend and Keane should start. His value to us just goes up every time he steps on the pitch, I'll be amazed if he stays with us unfortunately. I can definitely see at least 5 "big" clubs coming in for him. Well done Micheal, very good tonight !

The boy "done well"; one little slip apart (which Hart, thankfully, baled out). I'd think that Southgate may persevere with 3X CH after that.

Or perhaps he's a decent bloke and simply said; well done, Michael. We are really pleased for you and proud of you.

IMO M Keane was England's MotM and not Alli, who the BBC suggest.

His passing was 1st class and he cooly stopped Germany's advances on the left.

His international standing and his confidence will have been boosted by a wonderful debut.

Keane did well but the one huge mistake that should have been punished will have put an end to any possible MOTM award unfortunately.

If that had been Gary Cahill with the early goal scoring opportunity for England we would have won 1-0 or more!

Can't imagine Cahill scoring that, and it was Cahill who got away with the first half penalty and then preferred to protect his b0ll0cks for the goal, as good a strike as it was.
