As mentioned on the match thread, he looked assured throughout. Only blip was misjudging a difficult bounce.

his passing was superb, we are wasting him by just getting him to launch it to Barnes, such a shame. I suspect it'll be pretty much the same against the might of Lithuania at the weekend and Keane should start. His value to us just goes up every time he steps on the pitch, I'll be amazed if he stays with us unfortunately. I can definitely see at least 5 "big" clubs coming in for him. IMO M Keane was England's MotM and not Alli, who the BBC suggest.

His passing was 1st class and he cooly stopped Germany's advances on the left.

His international standing and his confidence will have been boosted by a wonderful debut.

Keane did well but the one huge mistake that should have been punished will have put an end to any possible MOTM award unfortunately.

Can't imagine Cahill scoring that, and it was Cahill who got away with the first half penalty and then preferred to protect his b0ll0cks for the goal, as good a strike as it was.
