A very steady composed display as you would expect. Unruffled, unhurried and just one mistake. Michael has a long successful career ahead of him as with Gary Cahill. Both will look back with gratitude to their days at Turf Moor.

I thought he looked very comfortable last night. Yes, one mistake, but overall he looked good.

I did have a thought, if last night's team had been:

Heaton, Trippier, Keane, Mee, Cahill, Bertrand, Dier, Barton (at his peak), Alli, Lallana, Ings

Do you think it would have been just as good?
