Keane MOM in Mail
Re: Keane MOM in Mail
Fake news.
The SJWs will lynch you for this, it has to be in The Guardian to count.

Only the terminally thick think that people who don't like the Mails political stance think it somehow effects the way they regard the way sports reporters report sports news.
Great news btw

Re: Keane MOM in Mail
Another decent performance on Sunday and my pre-season forecast of Keano not only being an England player but also a £30 million player will seem a little pessimistic. When Chelsea, Liverpool or United come a -knocking, they should be looking at nearer 40 mill. We must NOT let the buggers steal him.

Apparently United don't have a sell on clause for him!
Some interesting comments via their forum as well.

BBC gave it to "Delle" (What happened to having your surname on your shirt?).
Did he do something I missed because he was very ordinary last night.

Re: Keane MOM in Mail
I think there were a few MOM candidates. Walker also put in a solid performance. As mentioned though, so long as he doesn't get injured playing for England it'll just keep adding millions to Keane's price tag.

i'm pretty sure they do; it tends to be a standard thing when they sell young players.
they don't have a buy back clause though.

I also thought he had an excellent game and maturity beyond his years. All the hallmark of making one of the CD positions his own for many years to come as long as he gets the game time. Feel another year with us is vital to his progress, especially given the system we play.

Re: Keane MOM in Mail
Not a good thing IMO, first step in the 24 hour sports media circus which will see him being slated in about 8-12months.
If you've got two minutes I recommend this video 'Why We Hate John Stones'. It's a great channel actually and did a good video on the wealth gap using United & Burnley as examples.

Step one: Identify Target
Step two: Create impossible expectations through repetitive unnecessary praise.

A thread about our first England international since 1974 being MOM and you are surprised I'm on it?
I'm amazed there haven't been more replies to be honest, its a tremendous achievement!

The problem is Lancaster that he is probably not related to or have any affiliations with a certain Northern Ireland politician. If he had we would be into page 7 or 8 by now.

Re: Keane MOM in Mail
Liverpool supporters think they can get him for £10m-£15m
. I am sure they are on a different planet to everyone else.

Re: Keane MOM in Mail
Go on then I may as well say it, that would be a steal, well it is Liverpool blah blah blah

For his first international match Keane did an excellent job . According to me he is worth 50 million pounds .
