When you ring the ATH ....

Post by LordBob » Thu Mar 23, 2017 10:35 pm

Whenever you call the ATH to give information you are treated with respect and gratitude but if you were to repeat the same in public you would probably be reported for being a racist, that's what they call concerned Britons these day's, or possibly arrested. If we really are going to confront those who are hell bent on destroying us then it's time to call a spade a spade. During the Ireland troubles they were IRA terrorists and Che was a communist terrorist why then are the evil cretins that are trying to destroy us not Muslim terrorists, the BBC would choke trying to say this.

Jesus.
They are trained and paid to treat you with respect whatever the f*ck you say.

YOU: I just saw a brown person wearing a backpack on a train.
OPERATOR: Thank you sir, your call has been appreciated, leave it with us.
[hangs up]
SUPERVISOR: Who was that?
OPERATOR: Just another racist.

Also how often are you calling the ATH?!

I only deduced it from the context. Apparently LordBob is such a regular he's had to create his own acronym.

Well I sort of worked it out, but it wasn't an acronym that I was familiar with and as I say it didn't come up on a google search.
All I could find was a town in Belgium, various Audio- technica firms and a composite building material!! :?

Edit: beat me to it Combat!

Lordbob has a special discount rate for the ATH from BT, quite obviously.

I am probably one of the few on this site (if not the only one) that has had to regularly ring them when I worked in the Control room of Royal Mail. I can't remember if it was the Hotline but it was SO13 I believe who we called if one of our red fleet was stolen. Given that Royal Mail vans are seen as part of the furniture you can see why they would be interested in circulating details out to those who need to know.

I always found them to be normal people!! Mind, I don't know what is expected of them.
