I like football topics
I like to visit here to have a read about everything Burnley and have discussions about my team. I don't really enjoy seeing political threads, religious threads, which has become even more popular in light of recent events.
To me football is an escape from the real world that I can enjoy no matter the state of my personal life, no matter what is going on around me.
If I wanted to read up about politics or religion I could find plenty of other places online. Any chance we could stick to football topics only? It is of course optional which threads I view, but just take a look at The Bee Hole End right now, so many topics unrelated to Burnley FC.
Am I alone here?

There was a similar thread just the other day. Just avoid the threads which aren't about football. I, and evidently many others, enjoy both types of discussion on here.

Somebody touched on this the other day, it's pretty rudimentary:
"Non league games this weekend" - Football thread (click and view).
"Shari'a Law" - Non-football thread (keep scrolling).

Re: I like football topics
Weirdly, saying you only like football topics is in itself a political comment as to the nature of this messageboard, so you are, indirectly, contributing to the politics you wish to avoid by highlighting it.
Re: I like football topics
I much prefer the variety rather than just football. Yes you could have football and none football forums but is it really that hard to look into a thread, decide it's not for you and move on to the next?

A very wide section of folk but with a common interest and a 'Northern' slant. Those in foreign parts such as myself...
