Russia Protests
The Russian police are almost saying that the protesters should disperse or they'll start being hurt. Over 400 have been arrested, including Navalny who was merely making his way to the protest. Streams are being shut down.
This is pretty hairy.

Sounds like a regular continuation of Russian politics to me.
Re: Russia Protests
Was in Moscow this morning. Absolutely massive police presence but left before it all kicked off. There were quite literally hundreds of police vehicles.

Trump's silence is deafening, and telling. He has something to say about everything, particularly when it's about his enemies, yet he's silent about this. He'll criticise Germany, one of the closest allies to the U.S., yet he won't say a negative word against Putin and Russia even when they crackdown on peaceful protesting like this.
His apologists must be a little worried by now.

Re: Russia Protests
It's more valuable to criticise your friends. To criticise your enemies is pretty pointless.

So i guess when he's tweeting about how evil a muslim bomber is he's doing that as an act of a friend. But when he is silent on a white pro-trump terrorist it's because he's his enemy.

I don't think from the little I know about Trump, that he likes protesters.
So why would you expect him to condemn it? Has every other leader got involved.
