Heard that we are off to the Isle of Wight to play in a tournament with Lincoln City, Lincoln United and Rammy United. Quarter and quarter and quarter and quarter scarves will be on sale I believe.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
You can't talk them into coming over here again? I think it was about 10 years ago that that happened. The closest they got to me was Minnesota. That's a 2 day drive. I wasn't quite up to it.

Unfortunately the quarter final scarves will only be available to fans of The Impsjdrobbo wrote:Heard that we are off to the Isle of Wight to play in a tournament with Lincoln City, Lincoln United and Rammy United. Quarter and quarter and quarter and quarter scarves will be on sale I believe.

Well you've certainly been done by your board.
Re: Pre Season Friendlies
Re your Barca home win Saxoman, we have beaten you hands down on that. We played Barca away and won, then played Real Madrid away and drew. In the 1920s Nelson beat Real Madrid. Now re bragging rights, why don't you mention your other European adventures, i.e. Trelleborg results.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
're Rovers and Trelleborg I remember some enterprising Clarets making a new Burnley sign on the Route into Burnley ,the morning after the match ,
with the words welcome to Burnley twinned with Trelleborg. They must have been up half the night.

Re: Pre Season Friendlies
We also beat barca away 1-3 in the 90s, shearer scored twice.. Wasn't played at camp nou though.. Koeman, stoichkov, romario et al all played..Bfc wrote:Re your Barca home win Saxoman, we have beaten you hands down on that. We played Barca away and won, then played Real Madrid away and drew. Saxo now truly feeding on scraps...reduced to bragging about preseason friendlies. Pitiful.
