A pal of mine who is big into his night photography has been out and not seen anything. Too misty. On the aurora facebook page though someone saw them as far south as bedfordshire (allegedly).

It's subsided now. Over the next few days though there is plenty of geomagnetic activity expected. It's worth keeping an eye on aurora watch.
I didn't see it but I was nowhere near a dark sky when I got the alert

I know someone who went to the North of Norway this winter to see it and didn't!

does Aurora track back and can Aurora light up the stadium, perhaps described as a colourful perfomer.
