A realistic one, Keane isn't Burnley captain why would he suddenly become England captain? I thought he did well against Lithuania but apart from upping his value it didn't show me anything because he plays week in week out against better teams than Lithuania. I don't judge players off games against pub teams, I will make judgement off how he does for us in the PL and he's doing just fine. Comments like "future England captain" after a good game against Lithuania are delusional imo. I believe he won't be starting when all English centre halves are fully fit but there's only one way to find out...Saxoman wrote:Wowzer. Are you really a claret?

Re: Keane
He needs to play against a decent international side to be judged then.

What must it be like living in your world KRBFC ?KRBFC wrote:GermanyThey lost to a 3rd string German side, Keane did well, had little to do. He should have cost England a goal but for an excellent save from Hart (who some on here would have you believe he's sh**). You're showing a complete lack of football knowledge by saying "like Germany" as if England played the full strength German team or even close to it
You managed to find negativity in everything - even something as positive as Keane playing really well for England twice.
It was not Germany's 3rd string side - it was a mixture of their first team and fringe players. Germany are going through a transition themselves at the moment and are not actually that strong. England played well and should have won the game and Keane made a great debut.
Keane can do nothing about the opposition anyway - he took his chance and played well. What more can he do ?
The fact that you manage to pick out his only mistake in 180 minutes shows exactly everything you about.
Hart's save from that mistake was not difficult yet you make out he saved Keane's skin - saving skin is what Stones did in the Lithuania game when Hart made one the many mistakes he has made in the last 12 months.

KRBFC channelling his inner Saxo today.
Re: Keane
I said he did well.... How is that negative ? I picked out the mistake because it happened and i wont pretend it didn't. As I said above the only thing I saw is Keanes value increase he showed nothing he hasn'tshown week in week out for us against significant ly better opposition in the PL. You picked the negative out my post and ignored all the positives which is your agenda.TVC15 wrote:What must it be like living in your world KRBFC ?

Had heard Keane and Heaton to Everton for 50 million is a done deal. The price is tipped in Heatons favour to allow us to not have to pay as much to UTD

Re: Keane
If they're stupid/rich enough to pay 89 mil for the distinctly average Pogba,
then maybe they'll pay substantially more than 25 for MK, someone who looks like
hes going to be an England international for years to come.
As we don't desperately need the dosh, we can play hardball with em.
