Re: Hull supporters view on Kamil Grosicki
Some are actually questioning his ability to kick a ball.
That has got sod all to do with how long a player has been at a club.

Signing him was always going to be a gamble

I`m sure supporters of all clubs do this.ClaretTony wrote:So other clubs fans judge players too after just a handful of games
When you are in a relegation battle like Hull I think this just gets exaggerated as fans are desperate for the new big signings to have an immediate impact. Grosicki just like many wingers is inconsistent - he played well in the Burnley game I thought but sounds like he has been pretty average in other games.
The fans are also saying that he`s not as bad as Marchovic - who from memory had a brilliant game in one of his first games which was televised (Man Utd ?)...but has then been either injured or from the sounds of it gash !! Liverpool paid £20m for him 3 years ago...and thats pre the most recent TV deal so it shows how difficult it is in trying to sign players irrespective of how much you are prepared to spend.
If you look at some of the comments on Grosicki in France then he has not been consistent for a while....except when he plays for Poland.
All that said Hull results have been pretty good since January so some of their players must be doing ok !!

Wonder how many on here who wished he was here and bigged him up to huge levels had probably never seen him play either.

Some people still question David Jones' ability and he was here 3 years.Funkydrummer wrote:Some are actually questioning his ability to kick a ball.

Most people choose ther life partners after a handful of meetings and many of those interactions are less than 45 minutes each way.

Re: Hull supporters view on Kamil Grosicki
Are you suggesting we hook up with our players?
I'll suggest this to my mate who hates Boyd, but I don't think it's going to happen if I'm honest.

I think some supporters make a considered view of a player based on how they played at a previous clubClaretTony wrote:So other clubs fans judge players too after just a handful of games
i.e. Westwood.

Re: Hull supporters view on Kamil Grosicki
The Internet allows you to see an awful lot, but 30 minutes of a real game usually gives one a decent insight. Class is permanent, form temporary an adage which is bound to an age of social superiority, but some players are gifted, have the right attitude, have good vision, play for the team, others just have one facet or are simply decent but not exceptional at anything.
Yes a player takes time to settle and temperament is often difficult to access but potential can usually be easily judged by watching 30 minutes or so, if you know what you're looking for.

I don't have to have seen him play to know that you can disregard the opinions of people who are questioning his ability to kick a ball.

Arr, but there's kicking a ball, and there's KICKING a ball. Apparently, according to some,Bin Ont Turf wrote:I don't have to have seen him play to know that you can disregard the opinions of people who are questioning his ability to kick a ball.
