Big feature in the Guardian - just started the video - but looks interesting - focused on Merseyside but rings true across the modern game
I know this is a concern for many - even at a club such as ours - let me know what you think after going through this

"The solutions the people I spoke to proposed were sensible and, among them, surely the idea of safe standing in football grounds is one whose time has come. At the other end of the scale, a ‘selfie stick section’ was also mooted."

Re: Fighting for football's soul
The big spend corporate/tourist approach is obviously about maximising income and inevitably affects atmosphere pricing out the next generation of fans and also what is being sold to the corporate/tourist spenders.
interesting when you contrast with this - and yes I don't think Bradford's pricing policy works if you do not accept the limitations on operational budget - i.e. run with significant losses. But you are getting a city behind it's team (with a big ground) and hopefully you are getting joy from taking part. Like many my most enjoyable time following our club was in the first 6 or 7 years on our route back after the orient game

Re: Fighting for football's soul
I'll swap you those 7 years for the last seven years..?
Re: Fighting for football's soul
How many of those Liverpool fans would feel the same if they were still winning things like they used to?
