Aussie rules football

Post by CBT » Fri Mar 31, 2017 7:42 pm

Watched a couple of games on BT sport over last couple of weeks for the first time in my life and not sure if I've seen such a high octane enjoyable sport(apart from our footy of course)

40-50k spectators packing out Aussies biggest cricket grounds with non stop action and loads of goals. The officials let the game flow and the players just get on with it.
Great stuff

Its a cross between rugby with a round ball, British Bulldog and all in wrestling. As with most things Australian, not for me thank you.

I'd be interested to know where you get your eggs from if you think an egg shaped ball is round

But yea apart from the shape of the ball your right it is abit of a wired mix

The games I've seen have been close games which always add to the excitement in any sport the only criticism is the games are too long
