Post by herbatlerbat » Sat Apr 01, 2017 7:00 pm

Awful today
Worst game I've seen him play for us and cant believe he stayed on the pitch, should have been pulled at half time he got away with some awful play in that 1st half

Not his best display for sure but after the 2 early misplaced passes thought he more than made up for that in the rest of the half .2nd half they outplayed us totally though to his credit he never threw the towel

He was poor today but then so were Hendrick and the golden boy's head must have still been with Ingerland as he made a number of errors today. Four or five wouldn't have flattered Spurs.

I can't really call our central midfielders after games like today, they have a tough enough job when it's man for man, but when you're man for man, then on top of that an extra two world class players the likes of Alli & Eriksen drifting through the middle constantly, you can expect to come out victorious with Barton, who's short of legs in a two man midfield.

can't do it on his own, as a collective we were semi-decent for the first 45 mins and then shambolic for the second

Same old story we are far too slow in midfield, we need a better quality of player.

He had a stinker today I'm afraid nothing today with the quality of opposition. Should of been replaced at half time.

He was poor but so was the midfield in general.

He had some early mis-placed passes but never gave up . Hendrick, on the other hand, never turned up .

Stuck with what we've got guys. We buy good players and don't play them ie Ward. We preferred Ben to him until Ben moved to CH. De four-will he ever start a game again. Brady-think he has started one (maybe two games). Tark -started twice since joining over 12 months ag.o

Unfortunately, Joey's passes were worst than mis-placed: what were good positions for Burnley were turned into desperate defensive situations. Most unlike Joey. But, the will to win and recover from what he'd got wrong is probably why he stayed on.

We'd all love it when Steven Defour is 100% fit.

Not the first time we've been well under par, after an international break. Good chance now on Tuesday to try to make up for that. UTC

It was like the second coming of Christ in January, now he's back to being an over the hill Championship player again...
