Creativity

Sunderland away and Spurs at home, we've created 2 decent chances in 180 mins.

Defour must start against Stoke

If Defour doesn't start against Stoke, we might as well sell him now ;)

I'm not sure Dyche is the sort of manager that considers creativity as a potential asset
and match winner given he continues to stick to his favoured formation and play
both Arfield and Boyd.
Yes, they fulfill a role for Dyche but not very often but I think he trusts them
more than he does Defour, or at present Brady.
However, if he continues to persist with them both and they under perform and
we lose against Stoke then he really will be under severe pressure to drop them both.
And one or two others possibly too.
I don't get it personally. We spend 18m on Brady and Westwood and they're not starting.
Defour who cost us another 7/8m and is our most creative player hasn't started (or finished)
many games either.
Basically he seems happier to play our Championship winning team bar for Hendrick.
And it's struggling to get results.

He really needed to change it for the game today but he played safe.
And it backfired.

Have you seen Brady play, jurek? And if so, have you seen him play well? Given a choice between someone who isn't doing much up front but defends well, and someone who isn't doing much up front and not defending well, Dyche chooses the former. I'm sure Brady's time will come, but it might be next season as things stand. Robbie Blake had a poor start too - remember Stan Ternent's "diving boots" comment? But that ended well. So will Brady.

Keeping clean sheets, assists and scoring goals are all that matters. What happens in between is neither here or there.

Brady has scored and had an assist in very limited time and playing out of position. The chance that Arfield had at the back post of the CF end today where he had to half arse flick it back because he is not left footed would of been perfect for Brady to volley in.

drs I haven't seem much of Brady to be honest apart from the Chelsea game and a few games he played for Ireland.
But I've seen enough of Arfield to know that he's been more than hit and miss this season.
Brady has to be given the opportunity to show what he can do and has the potential to make a
positive contribution to us getting a few more points on the table which, it could be argued he has already.
Even though he hasn't played that well.

I honestly feel we've seen the best of Arfield and there's nothing much left in his locker, so to speak.
He and Boyd have two goals to their name this season, if I'm not mistaken and precious few, if any assists.
Brady has as many, if not more, in a few games and without playing that well.
It really doesn't make much sense to me to not start Brady.
