I can Highly recommend Safely First. Instructors name is Stuart Pollard. Been a driving instructor as long as I can remember. I don't know what price per hour, but a good driving instructor will save you money in the end because it is likely your son will pass quicker than with a cheaper, less experienced instructor. Hope this helps.

There is a joke or 2 there.

But my mate passed with Graham.

I agree though a good instructor is far better than just going for the cheapest. After 20 lessons I was told I'm another 10/15 away from test standard.

After changing to another instructor who passed my docile mate, she said she will start the driving test process now.
After 3 more lessons with her I passed... And at my first attempt!

( the average I am told however is 40 hours )

Mark fowler in Nelson. Top lad. He taught my daughter. Wish he'd taught my wife, she's bloody awful.
