Heaton 7-Solid, couldn't fault him for their goals
Lowton 6-Didn't make enough forward runs or crosses, especially in 2nd half.
Keane 6-Think its poorest game Keano has played for us.
Mee 7-Typical Ben, very dependable and decisive
Ward 8-Played well and my MOM
Boyd 5-Poor second half (not on own) and deserved to be subbed.
Barton 5-By Joeys standards he had a poor game.
Hendrick 4-Thought he had a shocker.
Arfield 3-Wouldn't be anywhere near my starting line up.
Barnes 5-Below par
Gray 6-Certainly our best offensive player, surprised when he was benched.

Vokes 5-If you bring on Sam, you need someone to put the crosses over for him to have any impact. Especially given the quality of the opposition. To me it was poor substitution.

Heaton 8 couple of quality saves.

Lowton 7 very good first half, lost his attacking threat after the Spurs substitution's.

Keane 6 not at his best.
Mee 7 his usual game
Ward 8 MOM for me

Arfield 7 did well
Barton 4 shocker, not at the races time for a rest.
Hendrick 6 needs to play in Barton's role to get the best from him
Boyd 5 if he believed in himself a bit more he would turn in the performance we know he can produce. Went on a couple of runs and glided past players. Needs to do it more.

Barnes 7 Usual game. More mobile than Vokes so offers more.
Grey 8 Never his biggest fan but last few performances he is starting to show what he is capable of.

Vokes 6 must be hard for Sam waiting for a chance behind the other two. Never let's you down. But will never set the world on fire. He sums Burnley up perfectly.
Brady 6 why play a left footer on the right wing?

Game of two halves.
At half time - delighted with another great performance. Thought if anything we shaded the first half, although they created a chance and we didn't really.
Second half .... I've not seen football of that quality at the Turf since Chelsea in the opener two season ago. Sadly it wasn't from us, and nor could it have been.

Heaton 7. Did nothing wrong, looked solid as ever.
Ward 8*. MoM. He's a bl00dy good footballer this chap. Great reading, solid tackle, rarely gives ball away
Lowton 7. Good defender. Creative passing is hit/miss, which is why he plays for us.
Mee 7. Played pretty well
Keane 5. Not his day. Would've been if he's slammed home that half-chance on the turn. On another day ....
Arfield 6. As the rest, v good first half. Outclassed 2nd half. Shooting poor - tries too hard to finish beautifully, when sometimes it just requires a hammer
Hendrick 5 (First half 7 , second half 3). From dominant v Leicester, to timid v Spurs.
Barton 6. Always there, but some really sloppy passing today.
Boyd 5. Part of an excellent first half, outclassed in 2nd half when running was not enough.
Barnes 5. I wouldn't have picked him against that back 3. All big, strong and talented, wouldn't be unsettled by Barnesy. So - got nothing, did nothing.
Gray 8. I might be in a minority, but I love his intelligent running, pulling defenders wide, always giving beleaguered team-mates an option. Usually won the ball with great body-positioning and sheer brute force. Rarely gave it away. Game changed when he went off. Although that might not give enough credit to Spurs, who in the 2nd half were sublime.

Subs.
Vokes. 7 did what he could, as the player he is.
Defour. Oh how I'd love to see him in centre-mid
Brady. Oh how I'd love to see the player he was against us, tearing up/down the left.
