Now how many would swap.......
...our position for any of those below us?
There's been much drama-queenery going on, on the board over the last few days but, realistically, would you swap our position for any team below us? You could make a case for Palace being slightly better off having some momentum (but have you seen the rest of their fixtures...and they're unlikely to repeat that Chelsea-style victory, I'd suggest).
As for the rest, still 4+ points behind us and with games beginning to run out.
A win - any win - could well be enough. 36 points probably see us OK and I'd be surprised if 37 wasn't enough.
So, come on, despite the disappointment of Saturday - would you really swap places with those below us? If not then the inference is that we'll remain ahead of those teams come the end of the season.

For balance can you also ask if we would swap with any team above us?

Happy to - but my point was in response to the outpouring of concern about our imminent/inevitable plunge to relegation (that some seemed to fear).......Quickenthetempo wrote:For balance can you also ask if we would swap with any team above us?

I would swap with Chelsea
Changed my mind they lost to Palace at home and we beat Palace so Chelsea are worse than us

When you build up expectation then go 7 games without winning with a few self imposed errors there is bound to be frustration.
My main worry at the moment is we are the ones to break Rudy Gestede's 39 game not winning in the premier league streak on Saturday.

Has Gestede ever been on the winning side against us?Quickenthetempo wrote:When you build up expectation then go 7 games without winning with a few self imposed errors there is bound to be frustration.

Re: Now how many would swap.......
Might not swap with any of those below us but Hull, Swansea and Palace certainly have more
momentum looking forward than we may have. They know that and so do their fans so they'll be
full on with their support. They both have a few players who I would wish were in our starting line up.
We need the Turf Moor faithful to get right behind the team on Tuesday alongside
the team actually putting in decent, if not much better performances than as of late,
creating more chances and getting a few goals.

He came on in the 63rd minute of our 4-0 defeat at Cardiff in October 2012 --- Eddie Howe's last game?Sidney1st wrote:Has Gestede ever been on the winning side against us?
