The true costs of football agents to hopefully be revealed.

From the looks of it the FA are going to release information showing how much agents were paid AND the names of all the intermediaries in each deal from the last 2 transfer windows.

This could be interesting moving forward as it appears some deals are overly complicated or slightly shady.

It's only for the PL, not Rovers in the championship.

Should be intriguing to see the level of brass necked stances from the parties involved as they attempt to justify their percentage - still think it won't change much and only lead to more devious (probably legal) practices to hide the true extent of how money pours out of the game and into the pockets of a few

Although thinking about it there would be some laughs if Rovers agent payments were revealed.

There was one deal where they signed a portuguese lad either for free or £500k and the agent's fees were rumoured to be about £1 million.

I know you're joking, but it's including the Football League and National League.
What exactly the FA are set to tell us is the total payments made by clubs – from the Premier League to the National League – to agents between October 1, 2016 and February 1, 2017.

Still won't tell us anything, they had a transfer budget of £250k this season :D

I suppose it will show agents fees for their loans and freebies.

Is it going to be any different to the list of transactions published every year anyway though?

Who really cares, agents are part of the game the sooner football fans accept this the better. You would think the agents were stealing from fans the way some people go on, it's laughable. It's similar to footballer wages and people who take such an interest in what footballers make and moan about "why do footballers earn more than a person in the army". It's strange how so many people take such an interest in other people's lives.

I suppose you'd care more if Burnley paid £1 million in agents fees for a reletively unknown free signing from the Portuguese 2nd division like Rovers are reputed to have done?

Was that Rochina?.......another in a long line of failed signings at the time.

Yeah I think it was, they seemed to sign a couple of unknown players from the lower leagues in Portugal, but he sticks in the mind due to the stupidly high agents fees.

KRBFC doesn't care, or so he claims, but I suspect he'd be near the front of the queue to complain if it turned out we'd done something similar.

Rochina came from Barcelona B, and has had a decent career since.

I don't give a toss what other teams are paying in agent fees nor do I care what footballers earn.

You give enough of a toss to comment though.
