Adam was just about the only player they had worth writing about last night. Berahino had the odd nice touch and Diouf was a handful without ever really threatening, but Adam was a constant problem with his passing. Can't help but think he'd be perfect for us with those first time balls into the channels. Gray and Barnes would thrive off those.

The corner was beautiful, especially from my view in the JMc Upper. Hilarious.

Why the ref couldn't see immediately that he'd kicked it into play then deliberately handballed it, I don't know. But the linesman needed 10,000 people to point it out until he noticed too.

Funny moment but take nothing away from his stand out performance. He is a wily campaigner, can pick a pass and has a terrific left foot shot. I too wish we had managed to prise him away from Stoke.
