Agree with Spice. Barton has been poor the last few games, but I think SD will not replace him if he's not injured or suspended. We'll never get to see the best of Defour if he's played out of position.

I'd like to see Brady, Defour and Boyd supporting Vokes as a lone striker for this one, who also offers extra height missing in midfield. Then bring on Gray with 60 gone if we're still needing a goal. It would be Barton for Westwood but for recent form, but I like the balance of Westwood, Hendrick, Defour - you've got a bit of everything in there and I'd expect us to dominate their midfield with that combination.

It'll be the same as Tuesday, except I think he'll start Brady for Defour.

Barton's passing has been all over the shop these last two games, and he's slowing down noticeably, but in the absence of Marney he's our 'Sean Dyche on the pitch' for us and he'll definitely keep him in.

Westwood can do what Barton does but has more energy.
Defour is our classiest midfielder and best on the ball.
Hendrick is physical but can carry it as demonstrated on Tuesday and has an attacking threat.

We need to get Brady involved. We scored again with him on the pitch Tuesday and within minutes of him coming on.

Barton has been very poor recently.

The result on Tuesday was fantastic. The performance wasnt.

I'd like to see us try something a little different. Think a 4-3-3 could suit the players we have available and if done properly might well allow us to keep hold of the ball a bit, whilst still giving us the out-ball of Gray and Barnes when we're under pressure. Brady to come on around the hour again.

If we go after them, then I believe we will lose, 4 5 1 formation would suit, frustrate and ultimately get the right results, out of 3 results we can accept 2, Boro can ONLY accept 1 result and we need to deny them that. If we do deny they will get more and more open the longer it goes on.
