How far have we come in the last 10 years?
Just been reading up on Andrew Cole after seeing the news of his recent Kidney transplant. Found the team we had during THAT QPR game in February 2008.
Burnley: Jensen, Alexander, Caldwell, Varga, Harley, Elliott, Gudjonsson, James O'Connor (Spicer 90), Lafferty, Blake (Akinbiyi 46), Cole (Randall 89).
Subs Not Used: Kiraly, Jordan.
Goals: Cole 41, 56, Akinbiyi 77, Cole 86.
How much better does our team/squad look now?! We've come a very long way since then.
How far can we go in the next 10 years?

I blame Grezza's versatility for abc's continued insistance that defenders can play in midfield.

Alexander, Caldwell, Elliott, Blake and Cole were all good 'uns.

Varga. Completely forgot about him. The current Burnley side would beat that side. Despite what a few oddballs on here might have you think, we've come a long way in a short time. And the future's looking rosy.

That's by no means the worst Burnley side. It's a more than decent line up tbh.

We haven't always been really crap, northernmaninthesouth, in our long history we've been generally splendid.

Wouldn't mind some of Wade's crossing at the mo.

Re: How far have we come in the last 10 years?
JBG will prove to be the biggest bargain since we signed Michael Duff .Johann is a great crosser and had more assists for goals in a poor Charlton side than anyone .
Wade and Glen Little are up there with some of the best crossers that led to goals Although by far in my time the best of all was Davy Thomas He could stand up a from a standstill with pinpoint accuracy and he was no slouch at skinning defenders.
