Re: Ken Livingstone
Sadly the left are bereft of knowledgeable performers, there was a time when you could pick 20 or so Labour MP's who had a reasonable all round grasp of political affairs, this shadow cabinet has none.

When I saw the title I thought ablue was going to suggest a midfield partnership of Tarks and Red Ken

What was right about her ?Imploding Turtle wrote:What specifically was wrong with Abbott on QT last night?
She's a bumbling idiot who comes across awfully every time she is put in front of the camera.
She's an embarrassment to the Labour Party and it speaks volumes about the state of the party that a person with her past can hold a position in the shadow cabinet.

What was it about "specifically" that you didn't understand? I get that you hate her, i do. I'm not exactly fond of her myself. But can you take a moment to compose yourself, wipe your mouth and tell me what it was about her appearance on QT last night that made you so angry?TVC15 wrote:What was right about her ?

I wasn't angry at all either - I just find it a joke that she has ended up where she is when she can't even get her words out half the time and has stabbed in the back pretty much everyone else in the Labour Party.
Is that ok with you you patronising prick ?

I've stopped being lazy now and read the news. And yes Ian you are right. It wasn't called the Final Solution for nothing. There were lots of options in between. Hitler and his cohorts liked the idea of Jewish people leaving Germany but just not with all their worldly possessions. And then they didn't like the Final Solution so much as they realised that they needed the slave labour.
Weird twist to Hitler and Jews. In 1941 when it was becoming more widespread the knowledge of what was befalling Jews in Europe, Avraham Stern a Zionist living in Palestine (head of short lived Stern Gang) sent a letter to Hitler via Vichy Syria offering to fight the Allies on behalf of the Axis if Hitler came out in favour of a Jewish homeland in Palestine.
Funny old world.
