Surprised they got him to stop talking about how brilliant Man City are, to get his prediction.

He's letting that statue they unveiled of him at Madiera airport get to his head before making this prediction.

So because we are still mathematically able to get relegated, Niall Quinn is X Y and Z bad word just cause he thinks we will go down? Oh dear.

He watched the Spurs game and saw how our heads dropped after the 1st goal. He was most probably at the Sunderland game the week before to witness another dismal performance. So what do you expect a glowing referance

He is. of course, entitled to his opinion but his logic defies belief. He thinks we will go down because we were 'down and out' once Spurs had scored against us and that's his reason for us being relegated. However, he thinks Swansea will stay up and they were winning against Spurs with a couple of minutes to go and lost 3-1!

And yet he failed to mentioned how we beat Stoke, like we've done all season, by taking the lead and comfortably seeing the game out.

Quinn is entitled to his opinion; pointless and worthless though it may be. Has he actually justified why he thinks we are more likely to be relegate than say West Ham or Swansea?

I think Niall Quinn is a talentless pundit just cause he is a talentless pundit, personally.

...and then I'll show you my minimum of £49.50 in my pocket every month by not subscribing to Sky and not giving money to the loathsome Rupert Murdoch and I win!

I reckon Quinn was asked for his predictions before the midweek games.

A bellend for sure but if boro beat us and Everton and Man Utd we could be bottom 3 ( highly unlikely) but there's a reasonable argument .

Quinn's a magnanimous bloke though and still to this day will only accept potatoes as payment

Not sure I'd ever describe Quinn as a prick. An average pundit I agree but seems a decent fella, let's not confuse the two. Wasn't he one of the first to donate all his testimonial money to charity....?

What nobody has mentioned is that Quinn made the predictions on Monday, before Stoke, and before the Swan's implosion etc. Many on here were making the same prediction.
