Branford chant today

Post by claretandblue » Sat Apr 08, 2017 11:52 am

Let's get this going today!

Cheer up Patrick Bamford
Oh what can it mean?
You're still, crying in the car park
Coz you're, not in the team!

Nooo don't tempt fate. He might come on as sub and score an equaliser/winner if we sing that. (Unlikely as it seems).
Funny though.

"what a duck egg". Ages since I heard that expression. My dad (a Syker) used to use that a lot when we were watching matches- usually aimed at some opposition player who was being made to look useless by that great team we had in the late 50s /early 60s.
Not sure where that expression originates though- duck eggs are great aren't they (fried and on toast for breakfast).
