Any landscape gardeners out there?
What would be a reasonable price for approximately 20 square meters of Indian sandstone paving (not a uniform shape) including excavation, edges, membrane, hardcore, full mortar bed, labour etc etc?
Cheers.
Cheers.

Re: Any landscape gardeners out there?
I know this is slightly off subject, but if you've ever been curious as to what happened to all Burnley's sandstone (every street) paving that the council dug up and sold off as Architectural salvage, I know at least two cities that have benefited from it and who use it in their city centres.
Both Winchester and Canterbury have it and these are the only Southern towns I've lived in, so at a guess, probably half the other home counties 'middle class' towns have it, too.
As soon as you see it, you know it's Burnley sandstone flags.

Haha, I take it that you don't know how much the paving described above should roughly cost??

Re: Any landscape gardeners out there?
Indian stone comes in patio packs which would probably cover that area, between £250-300

A gardener once told me that it's around £20 per stone on average to cement them etc
