Merson and the Hole

Post by Claretforshaw » Sun Apr 16, 2017 2:21 pm

Why on earth does Sky get him to cover any game with Hull when he is incapable of pronouncing a simple four letter word referring to them as "Hole"? I have never been there but I am sure it isn't!!

"Merson and the Hole"

Sounds like an obscure noughties indie band.

Debut album: 'No Left Foot'

Available on vinyl in second hand record shops. Just keep looking.

You should hear him try and pronounce Grosicki.

Also has an irritating habit of saying a player 'headered' the ball instead of 'headed' it.

It's so juvenile it's not true. Like when Merson mis pronounces " accidentally on purpose " a players name and the rest of them roll around ******* their pants!! 2-2 has become Desmond (Tutu), and hitting the beans on toast (post). It's pathetic.

How on earth does he get a job with Sky. Awful pundit. Tv companies need to realise that not all ex pros make good pundits. Please get Lampard off MOTD. The words sawdust brain and dull spring to mind.

Agreed. Prime example Alan "time for a cheesy grin, coz I'm on camera" Shearer. The licence fee could be half price without muppets like him.

Merson talks like someone with a brain injury. I wouldn't mind so much if he actually had anything interesting to say but he hasn't.
