I had problems over the weekend watching using Kodi, so tried watching through my browser
(IE 11) to no avail.

Finished up changing the version of Kodi from 17.1 (Krypton) to 16.1 (Jarvis) and re-installing
Sportsmania. Been watching successfully since.

If you are trying to use it in a hotel you might need a vpn connection

Bit late sorry, but if you have a mobile phone with internet connection, you can use the matrix app to connect to sportsmania very easily. I've just ordered a lightning to cdmi cable to plug the phone into hotel TVs

I've had various issues with Win 10, Kodi 17.1 and Sportsmania. It works on one machine but trying to install it fresh on another machine from the new repo (regardless of skin) fails with 17.1 (but worked with 17.1 RC). Where the add-on is already installed it seems to work.

A VPN would probably solve the hotel issue.

Another option would be to try and install the Matrix TV app or the Kodi app on your chromebook (you can install android apps on there).
