Borussia Dortmund team bus caught in explosion.

I would have thought Muslim fascists are as far to the right as you can get ?Don't they think their faith and culture is superior and should be inflicted on us all whether by the gun, grooming and as the Turkish president said out breeding.

Its absolutely horrible, whoever does this kind of thing, but you really do have issues if you can't see that its a problem that will only get worse if youlet the likes of Farage or Hopkins have their way.
The only way to defeat this kind of thing, be it left or right or religous, is by sticking together and rejecting the politics and attitudes of hate.
Course, if you believe that Empire 2.0 is a good policy, then you are already well on the way to going down a road that won't end this.

I presume you do realise as many acts of terrorism are carried out by non Islamic groups.ClaretMoffitt wrote:Funny how the day that article is written more blood is spilt on European soil in the name of Islam. Still though, at least this gives a glimmer of hope to the liberals that when this happens again, there's an ultra slim chance it's a stock exchange scam.

Oh really, in Europe? Care to provide some data of fatalities within the last 2 decades due to non Islamic terrorism?

You have a pretty big number to beat there.

From 1968 until 2002, there had been more than 3,300 ETA attacks, which have also left more than 2,000 people injuredUpTheBeehole wrote:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ETA_attacks to start
Not within the last two decades and not even scratching the surface. Can you even fathom how high the number would be on the list I posted if it was numbering injuries instead of fatalities?

Okay well I can't be bothered counting every single one of those attacks between that period so i'll do you one even better, the total number since records began for this organisation of people killed is 829. That's from 1961-2011.UpTheBeehole wrote:There was me thinking the last 2 decades ran from 1997.

Are we ignoring illegal wars, or are we counting them? Because i have a few well funded organisations in mind that probably beat that figure. I mean, if we're having a terrorism ******* contest we at least may aswell play it to win, right?

More people in England and Wales died of Ischaemic Heart Disease in 2015 alone than have ever died of Islamic terrorism in that case.

If you really want to you can, but you and I both know that ideological terrorism committed by factions, lone wolves and splinter cells is not the same as state endorsed war in order to claim natural resources.Imploding Turtle wrote:Are we ignoring illegal wars, or are we counting them? So are we classing heart disease as terrorism now?UpTheBeehole wrote:More people in England and Wales died of Ischaemic Heart Disease in 2015 alone than have ever died of Islamic terrorism in that case.

More people die from being stabbed to death or being shot than from ISIS related terrorism.ClaretMoffitt wrote:So are we classing heart disease as terrorism now?

How many of those are shot or stabbed in the name of a singular ideology? How many of those are suicides? How many of those are domestic violence?Spijed wrote:More people die from being stabbed to death or being shot than from ISIS related terrorism.
I gave a number of 50,000+ killed within 3 decades, all with one ideological common denominator. You think random stabbings and murder stats are comparable with that?

Re: Borussia Dortmund team bus caught in explosion.
Islamic terrorism is not a threat to you, me, or anyone we know. Heart disease is. Stop getting so het up, it won't help with your impending heart disease.
Re: Borussia Dortmund team bus caught in explosion.
Over a million people died in road traffic deaths last year, beat that.ClaretMoffitt wrote:Okay well I can't be bothered counting every single one of those attacks between that period so i'll do you one even better, the total number since records began for this organisation of people killed is 829. This is utterly pointless.
Ok you guys win, there is no issues with islamic terrosim, the real issue we face today is with the ETA, terrorist cardiology and cars.

Interesting. Because it was only a few weeks ago i was listening to people of a similar political persuassion to yours question the difference between chemical attack deaths and civilian deaths, saying they're all the same, and using that equivalency to oppose Trump's bombing of Syria.
It's fascinating that to you people the "how" doesn't matter, but the "why", and the "by whom" does.
Re: Borussia Dortmund team bus caught in explosion.
You were the one that wanted to make a competition of it in relation to fatalities.
There is obviously a problem with islamic terrorism. However, it is arguably blown out of proportion compared to other risks because it is trendier, more current, more eyecatching, etc

This was a debate about terrorism.aggi wrote:You were the one that wanted to make a competition of it in relation to fatalities.

A statement was made that more terrorism is committed by non-islamists than by them, i disagreed and provided data to support my case. I asked for data to support the other case. Instead i got data about heart disease and road traffic collisions.
Re: Borussia Dortmund team bus caught in explosion.
Looks like it was a guy trying to lower the price of Dortmund shared so he could make a profit on some share options. Unbelievable.
