Friday racing
2 00…JIM ROCKFORD…EW 14/1.
QAARAAT WIN BET 11/2
These 2 are bred for the job…many in here have staying pedigrees.
3 40 I am laying mori @ 2/1…this race is full of unexposed horse from big yards and Stoute wont have this fully wound up…ok it’s a Frankel and Ryan Moore is on
But moore riding for stoute on unraced 3 year olds in march/april or may has only a 13 percent strike rate and last 14 have all lost….so taking this one on.
4 3o LAKE CHAPALA…6/4…won easily the other day at plumpton…was first run for yard…same jockey/distance and ground and off a 7lb higher mark
Looks the likely winner.
Quiet day at this stage…will post later if anything else transpires…utc.

Re: Friday racing
qaaraat now 7/2 from 11/2...last of the 11/2 went at 9 03...qaaraat is easily the most interesting horse but wont be beaten up to win....trainer wont have them knocked about riding with those colours.

Re: Friday racing
First two tips both outside the places. Jim Rockford pulled hard early then struggled for a run so may be worth a watch next run.
Re: Friday racing

Re: Friday racing
well done cutsy123
southfield vic drifted to a great price.
just timed first few races at each meeting
ground is quick at fontwell...avoid any mudlarks there today.
good or a bit softer at newbury
good at ayr
virtually all the field in the 2yo race were given easy rides...Jim Rockford was described as needing the run by paddock watchers...other one was given a fair/understandable tender introduction...the winner was bred for further so a decent run...but that stables runners tend to be very straight on debut.

Re: Friday racing
yes she did claretdom
she looked more like a colt with the depth of her chest...dont think she will have any problems staying the oaks trip...whether she acts on the course is another thing...also a lot of dansilis like a bit of cut as it is today at newbury...perhaps faster ground wouldnt be ideal.
gosden looks to have a wealth of talent with his 3 year olds.

Re: Friday racing
Two Taffs seemed to be fancied by everyone today and has won like a good odds on shot would but you could still get 5/2 - 3/1 looked a huge price by halfway

Re: Friday racing
Roger Varians yard is on fire right now...see how this one goes in the 4 10....this race over the years has favoured the mid to low numbers....if the fav chessman wins from 15 that would be a really good performance.

Re: Friday racing
Was gutted by that one just missing out as had the 4 Gosden horses in a Yankee and cash out after that would have been nice.claretdom wrote:Hopefully Chessman gets up in the 4.10 for my treble
