According to his website he is appealing the ban, which if is allowed to proceed with can legally adjourn the ban until the appeal process is complete

He's appealing the length of the ban, not the ban itself, so I doubt we'll see him again.

Wish to add my name to the thanks list.
Joey has been close to immense for us especially last season.

Be surprised if we see him play again for us even if it transpires
his appeal delays the commencement of the ban.

Joey has been great for BFC stemming from the mutual respect between him and Sean Dyche. For BFC it was not the same Joey Barton that played for other clubs.
